Nokia 1110

The Nokia 1110 was released in 2005 as a replacement for the Nokia 1100. This phone is again aimed at the first time mobile phone owners especially in the developing country market. Nokia noticed a huge boom especially in India and Pakistan. This phone was not as succesful as the Nokia 1100 and was discontinued in 2007 being replaced by the 1200.

The phone was designed to be compact and easy to use. It came with an alarm clock and polyphonic ring tones. The original 1110 had a black and white display with an amber backlight. Nokia released an updated 1110i version in 2006 which had a regular screen instead of the black and white display.
