Nokia C2-02

The Nokia C2-02 phone is a touch screen phone with a keypad that slides out. Many people still like the option of having a keypad, the C2-02 combines both in a nice easy to use way. As with many of the lower range smartphones the touch screen isnt as responsive as it could be, it is defintiely no iPhone. Also being a Nokia you do not have access to the wide range of Apps that you would have if it had been an iOS or Android based phone. It does allow access to Facebook, Twitter, maps, radio and contains a reasonable mp3 player. This will never compete on the high end of the market as it does not have 3G funcionality, leading to slow internet speeds. I have painted a pretty bleak picture so far, but there are positives about this phone. Firstly it is not aimed at the high end of the market. If you wanted a fancy smartphone with all you can eat data and a plethora of apps you wouldnt even be looking at this phone. So it does not need the special features, it needs to do more then a standard phone at a reasonable price, which is what it does. It has facebook and twitter, lets face it that is what half the smartphone users spend most of their time on anyway, it may not be the full versions but it is enought to get by until you find a pc or laptop. Going back to my Fiat Punto boy racer analogy, there is nothing wrong with driving a Fiat Punto, it gets you from A to B and having a few extras can be nice. |
